Hosting a gathering at Ceramica is a creative, fun, and relaxing way to celebrate many occasions! We host bridal showers, baby showers, retirement parties, date nights, homecoming activities, extracurricular or scout gatherings, fundraisers, casual get togethers, friends’ evenings and more. Ceramica is a place to schedule an activity that everyone can enjoy!
If you are thinking of a creative way to have a staff meeting, host a fundraiser, or a team building activity, consider booking our “party room” for a few hours to be creative and work together as a team. Or book our party room to celebrate the holidays or special corporate events.
Our partnership with Empty Bowls is a great way for teams to engage in an activity together, while also giving back to the community.
FAQs About Private Events at Ceramica in Boise, ID
What if my friends are not excited about painting pottery?
You might be surprised at the variety of bisqueware we have to paint... We have something for everyone. That said, we will have hand-building opportunities on site as well to mix it up so that you aren’t just painting...You can be making as well.
Will glazes stain our clothes?
No. All paints (called wonderglazes) that we use are water soluble. We also have aprons you can use.
What if we do not want to get dirty?
You can always come and paint with us which is not messy at all. However, if you don’t mind getting a little dirty, handbuilding and working on the wheel are highly creative and addictive activities. Simply wear clothes that you can get a little dirty...Not to worry...Clay comes off in the wash.
Can we reserve a party room?
Yes. It will comfortably host 15 people.
Can we bring food or drinks?
You can always bring food and your favorite drinks to the studio or have food delivered here. Please keep in mind that greasy foods can repel glaze. So, it is best to snack, but wash your hands right after, and then return to painting your piece.
Why have a corporate meeting at Ceramica?
It can be very effective for team building when a crew works together. And it can be even more effective when the crew can play together. You can also give your employees gift certificates to spend time with their families as an incentive or reward for jobs well done.
