Ceramica Summer Camps 2010
June 7-11 AROUND THE WORLD 9:30-12:00
This camp is designed to introduce your child to various countries from around the world through sculpting and painting. We will paint and English Teapot, Columbian coffee mug, and Japanese rice bowls. We will sculpt an Italian pizza plate, Mexican mortar and pestle and an American seafood platter. We will discuss unique customs from each country as we create. Cost $120.00
June 14-18 ADVENTURES IN SPACE 9:30-12:00
If your child loves space then they will love this camp! We will spend the entire week learning about space through art. We will create a planetary mobile, a clock with space objects, an alien and a rocket bank, just to name a few. Sign your child up for a week of extraterrestrial fun! Cost $110.00
July 5-9 AMAZING ANIMALS 9:30-12:00
Dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses! We will be creating them all!! If your child loves animals this is the perfect camp. Each day we will be sculpting and painting a large assortment of animals. Your child will create animal bookends, a mobile, a birdhouse, a clock and an animal print name plaque. Cost $100.00
July 12-16 AROUND THE WORLD 1:00-3:30

July 26-30 FOR THE BIRDS 9:30-12:00
This camp is for the true bird lover. We will spend each day creating projects that show our love for animals. We will make a sculpture of our favorite bird/animal, design a birdhouse, paint a toucan, construct and paint a birdbath, and form bookends with our favorite animals on each side. Cost $120.00
Aug. 2-6 SUMMER FUN 9:30-12:00
During this week long camp we will be celebrating summer! Children will create a mobile symbolizing summer, a make a “Pinch-Pot” flower pot, paint a surf board or a flip flop box and design and paint unique ice cream sundae bowl. Cost $100.00
Aug. 16-20 THE GREAT NORTHWEST 9:30-12:00
This camp is designed to share the wonders of the Great Northwest without leaving Boise. We will create totem poles unique to the Indians of the Northwest, design a 3-D framed picture of the Teton Mountains, string clay artifacts on rope, and design and paint steelhead from our rivers. Children will create six projects symbolizing our region. Cost $110.00
